E-TECH Summary:Lesson 6

Hello Everyone today I'm gonna make a Summary about Infographics.

First thing first What is Infographics? Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system's ability to see patterns and trends.

So what's the use of Infographics? implify information in a visually engaging way in order to attract and inform a large audience. The best infographic designers use basic principles of design to support the information presented and to make it more easily accessible to a larger audience or to target one particular audience over another.

Ok we're done introducing Infographics next up is Basic Principles of Graphics and Layout

1.  Balance. The visual weight of objects,texture colors, and
Space is evently distributed on the screen.

2. Emphasis. An area in the design that may appear different in size,texture,shape,or color to attract tthe viewer's attention.

3. Movement. Visual elemnts guide the viewer's eyes around  the screen.

4. Pattern,Repetition,and Rhythm. Repeating art elements in regular or cyclical fashion to create interest, movement, and/or harmony and unity. Rhythms can be random, regular, alternating, flowing, and progressive. Classes of pattern include, lattices, spirals, waves, symmetry and , among others.

5. Proportion. Visual element create a sense of unity where they relate well with one another.

6. Variety. This uses several design elements to draw a viewers attention.

And Finally what is Pictochart? is a web-based infographic application which allows users without intensive experience as graphic designers to easily create professional-grade infographics using themed templates.
